I care a lot about public philosophy. Below are some of the ways I have tried to increase philosophy's presence outside the academy.

• In 2025, I was a Marc Sanders Foundation Philosophy in Media Fellow. 

• Also in 2025, Michael Vazquez and I co-wrote a video for TED-Ed's Ethical Dilemma series about intellectual property. The video has more than 250,000 views and has been used in high school classrooms around the world.  

• In 2023-24, I worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at UNC's Parr Center for Ethics, where I helped run its award-winning National High School Ethics Bowl program.

• Also in 2023-24, I was awarded an E. Maynard Adams Public Humanities Fellowship to support my work with the Parr Center.
